Annabelle Fritton³³

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: Seamus Cronin⁽⁵⁾| T: R Brisland

150/1

Cheap buy who showed little on Kempton debut over this trip and needs to take a big step forward.

Form: 8

(7)

Ranch Hand³³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: William Carver⁽⁷⁾| T: A M Balding| C

10/11

From a family the trainer has done well with and highly promising effort to get off the mark at the first attempt over 1m4f here. Green in the early stages so there should be plenty more to come.

Form: 1

(6)

Night Fury¹¹

Age: 3| Weight: 8-9| J: Theodore Ladd⁽⁵⁾| T: M Appleby

33/1

33/1 on recent Ripon debut but tailed off and not hard to look elsewhere on this first go on AW.

Form: 6

(4)

Say The Word¹⁸²

Age: 3| Weight: 8-9| J: J Mitchell| T: S & E Crisford| BF

11/8

Similar level of form when runner up in a pair of maidens last autumn at slightly shorter. This longer trip is ideal and gelded since last seen. First go on this surface.

Form: 22-

(3)

Kalaya

Age: 3| Weight: 8-4| J: Jane Elliott⁽³⁾| T: A Watson

28/1

€6,000 purchase in February. First foal of a dam who won at this trip on debut. Yard does very well with new recruits and market should prove revealing especially compared to stable companion Tadasana.

Spirit Of Nicobar¹⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 8-4| J: Hayley Turner| T: A M Balding

40/1

Slowly away on recent Windsor debut and showed little when starting at 50/1. Should know more now but yard hold more obvious claims with Ranch Hand.

Form: 0

Tadasana

Age: 3| Weight: 8-4| J: L Morris| T: A Watson

16/1

Second foal of unraced dam who was a half-sister to smart winner at this trip Grand Couturier. Probably stable pick on jockey bookings and interesting newcomer.

Forecasts

Ranch Hand (10/11), Say The Word (11/8), Tadasana (16/1), Kalaya (28/1), Night Fury (33/1), Spirit Of Nicobar (40/1), Annabelle Fritton (150/1)

An informative novice and the pair of Archie Watson newcomers need a check in the market but RANCH HAND sets a decent standard on his debut win here last month and is from a family that tend to improve with experience. Say The Word is the type to do better this year and is the alternative on form.
