Improved from her debut when winning second time out on the AW over 5f (made all; showed good speed). Ran poorly on her handicap debut again on the AW (seasonal comeback; first run over 6f); others have more persuasive credentials.
Seasonal return having had plenty of experience as a juvenile (highly tried on occasions) before scoring on a rather belated nursery debut at Bath. Only seen once after that (ran well); now makes her stable debut having, could go well fresh.
Scored on her AW debut late last year having already won on turf prior to that, the latest win coming over 6f. Neither handicap run (so far) has suggested she is a winner waiting to happen in handicaps but should run a solid race off this mark.
Fast ground and a return to 5f saw him score on his final run for William Haggas; looks the type to progress at this age. Confirmed that view with his first run for his new yard (travelled well) back at his C&D winning venue; features on a nice mark.
One of two in the race for the trainer with the filly having taken back-to-back novice events last season over 5f. Lost nothing in defeat when sixth on her return at Nottingham (True Hero third); poorly drawn, still figures on a good mark.
Useful performer who only had one run as a juvenile but has returned to win over 5f at Lingfield (AW) and remained in good heart since. Now switches back to turf but remains on a mark that requires more from her.
Makes his seasonal debut for a yard who are yet to get going this term having won a 5f Hamilton novice last year on soft ground. Ran below form when he made his handicap debut (end of last year); others more persuasive.
Nursery winner on his debut in that sphere (having been gelded) over 6f but failed to build on that victory. Might have needed the run on his reappearance over 6f here (has been tried over7f); now back at the minimum trip.
Took a while to get going as a juvenile winning at the seventh attempt dropped to this trip; didn't need to show any improvement. Failed to make much of an impact on his comeback (well-backed); not badly treated on some of his juvenile form.
Forecasts
True Hero (11/4), Enchanted Linda (9/2), Wedding Date (9/2), Key To Power (13/2), On The Stage (9/1), Autumn Flight (11/1), Mark's Choice (12/1), Aloysius Lilius (12/1), Lovin (12/1)
A recent 5f handicap may well hold the key to this with TRUE HERO given the nod over Enchanted Linda after that pair caught the eye at Nottingham in their last outings, both making their seasonal reappearances. The trainer of the suggestion (Nigel Tinkler) won this last year with Roundhay Park who runs earlier on the card. On The Stage is another who looks a likely contender making her stable debut and having her first run of the season, this level gives her more of a chance to show her ability. Aloysius Lilius features on an attractive mark with the first-time cheekpieces now on to provide some spark.
- True Hero
- Enchanted Linda
