Off and running over fences at the first attempt (2m) when taking a Carlisle handicap off a 6lb lower mark. Struggled markedly since then in handicaps with not only the increased mark holding him back but also his rather slipshod jumping.
Scored on his second run for this yard when taking a 3m handicap chase here last summer on good ground. Produced a rare below-par effort last time although the deteriorating ground wouldn't have helped; fresher now, but any rain won't help.
Completed a simple task to open his chasing account at Kelso in January (odds-on favourite fell early). Not quite fired since then in two subsequent outings (let down by his fencing last time); needs to jump with more fluency to be considered.
First runner at the track for this powerful West Country stable who shaped better on his second attempt over the larger obstacles. Most recent chasing exploit the most promising although he did finish a little weakly; may do better yet over fences.
Bumper/hurdles winner who looks to be still learning his trade over fences having had just two starts in this sphere. Looks to be room for improvement in his jumping although his debut run was sound enough form; won't be bothered by any rainfall.
Back to form in lower grades than this over fences in recent months completing a hat-trick in small-field affairs. Found things much tougher in this class last time; revised mark demands more and looks outclassed.
Dual C&D winner last year but only seen twice since the last of those victories (both times at Musselburgh); looked rusty on the first of them after a break. Running well until departing last time; now returns to his favourite venue.

Christmas In April (15/8), From Eden (5/2), Boy's On Tour (5/1), Imada (6/1), Cooking Fat (6/1), Western Rules (7/1), Away For Slates (10/1), Luckofthedraw (10/1)
None of the profiles that are on display here are particularly sound with most still learning their trade over fences. Christmas In April is likely to appreciate the drop in trip as he becomes Colin Tizzard’s first Perth runner having shown up well to a point at Chepstow last time. The Nicky Richards duo of Imada and Western Rules are viable propositions if they can tidy up their jumping while From Eden is a fascinating contender if he does take his chance. BOYS ON TOUR is 2-2 at the track and it may well be a return here will be appreciated after his two Musselburgh runs which could have acted as a tune-up for a return here albeit off the back of unseating his rider last time.
