Rounded off an excellent 2018 by dead-heating in the Ayr Gold Cup. Handles any ground and although 0-5 on AW he has always run to form. Has gone well fresh in the past but requires another career best in order to score.
Has reserved some of his best performances for this venue here he is 4-6. Has no easy task at the weights, but fitness is proven and he could very well outrun his likely odds.
Has been placed five times in Group company and meets all of his rivals on better terms than if this had been a handicap. Stable 8-14 here with older horses, but he does improve for a run and he ran below-par on sole previous AW start.
Not beaten far in the 2017 Middle Park nor in last year's Commonwealth Cup. . Makes AW debut having been gelded and undergoing a wind op. Has little to find to make a winning return and stable are in good form.
Scored here over 7f on sole AW start but she is just as effective at this trip. Slightly below some of these in terms of ability, but she has a fitness advantage which bridges the gap and gives her every chance.
Landed three handicaps in 2018, finished runner-up in Listed company and ended the season with a facile victory. Has a bit to prove in this company on AW debut, but her sister progressed into a Pattern winner and that will be the plan for her.
Has a 3-6 record here but she faces a stiff task on stable debut as she would be receiving plenty of weight from these in a handicap.
Forecasts
Dream Of Dreams (6/4), Hey Jonesy (11/4), Eirene (9/2), Foxtrot Lady (8/1), Tropics (12/1), Baron Bolt (16/1), Rock On Baileys (25/1)
Dream Of Dreams represents top-class form and a stable with an excellent record here with their older horses. However, he looks worth opposing given a below-par effort on his sole AW start and a poor record following a break. It is disappointing HEY JONESY has only won the one race, but he may be open to improvement following a winter which has seen him gelded and undergoing wind surgery. His yard have their horses in good form and his Group 1 efforts suggest he should be good enough to win at this level. Course specialist Eirene and Tropics benefit from a fitness advantage, whilst Foxtrot Lady and Baron Bolt face the toughest tests of their careers.
