Scored on the Flat in France (1m1f, good to soft) and has looked capable on several occasions for this yard, despite not yet winning for them. Ran well fresh last year, so looks to have potential on reappearance after a 2lb drop.
Triple winner here over 7½f, including on fast ground. 2lb lower than his last win, which came at Thirsk (7f) in August. Should be capable of seeing out this slightly longer trip, and should be very competitive with a run under his belt.
Last success came over 1m2f (good; first-time cheekpieces) at Ripon in August, but has twice run well over 1m/7f since then. Stiff 1m should suit, and should be capable of going close if at his best from this mark.
Debut winner at York (6f, good to firm) as a juvenile and added a handicap to that back at the same venue (1m1f, good) last July, when on this mark. Largely consistent and beaten just 1L on reappearance. Interesting.
Dual course winner, including over this trip last September, when 5lb lower. Lost form after, but bounced back on reappearance at Nottingham (1m½f, good to firm) recently. Up 2lb, but has claims after that, now back here.
Sole win came over 1m2f here (good to firm) last June, when 8lb lower. Was consistent in defeat thereafter, until final start last year, and a similarly below par reappearance. Has a squeak from this mark if back to his best from good draw.
Won a 1m Newcastle claimer last time, but back up 3lb for returning to handicaps on this reappearance. Was 1L fourth from 1lb higher over C&D last August (good to firm), so could have a say (ran well on reappearance last year).
Was 0-14 for Ann Duffield, but got off the mark at the first time of asking for this trainer, when eased down 8L winner of a 0-70 here over C&D last week. 5lb rise leaves her 1lb 'wrong' here, but has to be taken very seriously.

Kylie Rules (15/8), Kannapolis (4/1), Autretot (11/2), International Man (6/1), Proud Archi (8/1), Stringybark Creek (17/2), Placebo Effect (16/1), Windsor Cross (16/1), Intense Style (16/1)
Potentially very competitive and after such a decisive win last week, albeit it in lesser company, KYLIE RULES is taken to follow up. Stringybark Creek goes well here and looks a danger, while Placebo Effect and Kannapolis have good draws and the ability to exploit them. International Man is another with claims, as is Autretot, whose trainer won this last year.
- Kylie Rules
- Stringybark Creek
