Well bred New Approach filly who won on debut at Newbury in October over 7f, just edging out a subsequent well regarded winner. Has 7lb to give away all round but is nice prospect and should go well if handling surface.
Fair third on debut at Chelmsford in December but looked a tricky ride when only fifth here over 7f last time. Needs to settle better if she's going to get home.
Intello filly who looked backward and duly finished last of 13 on debut at Newcastle earlier this month. More time needed and will find this tough.
Mid-division on debut in Newcastle mile maiden last month and built on that when staying-on nicely to be closing fourth in first-time cheekpieces back there three weeks later. Going the right way but may be one for handicaps.
Dark Angel filly who has a miler's pedigree being out of an Oasis Dream mare with stamina in her line. Yard has 24% strike rate here so no surprise if she's goes well on debut.
Half-sister to two winners at up to 1m2f and has run respectably on both starts so far without threatening to trouble the judge. Should win races but this could prove a tough assignment.
Not disgraced when sixth on debut in back end Newmarket maiden, although eventually beaten a long way. Surprise if she's up to bustling up the anticipated principals here.
$550,000 daughter of top sire Scat Daddy out of winning US mare. Good third on debut in 7f maiden at HQ in July but ran poorly only subsequent start when hot favourite. Not seen for nine months but too early to write her off and looks a player.
Yard in tremendous form (33% strike rate) and she went close on debut Lingfield over this trip last month, leading 100yards out before being caught close home. Will have learned from that and looks sure to be thereabouts in first-time cheekpieces.
Dark Angel filly out of Duke of Marmalade mare so should stay well. Not beaten far on debut over 7f at Newcastle last month and this longer trip looks more suitable. No surprise to see her go well.
58,000 guineas dauighter of Poet's Voice but hasn't shown much in her first two starts and looks stable second-string under apprentice rider. Future probably lies in middle-distance handicaps.
Mukhadram filly out of maiden daughter of Nayef. Yard not known for first-time out three-year-old winners and it would be a surprise if she's good enough to figure here on debut.
Daughter of Toronado showed ability on debut at Newcastle over a mile, racing prominently until tiring inside distance. Will be better for the experience and yard in cracking form at present with 38% winning strike rate.
Forecasts
Nearooz (11/10), New Jazz (9/4), Seraphim (10/1), Jaidaa (10/1), Under The Storm (16/1), Aigiarne (20/1), Lady Mascara (25/1), Sadler's Soul (25/1), Hikayah (50/1), Masai Spirit (66/1), Taaldara (66/1), Sweet Poem (80/1), Fabulous View (100/1)
This is a tough finale but SADLER'S SOUL is the marginal choice having shaped so well on debut when only just failing to win at the first time of asking. Her yard could hardly be in better form. Previous winner Nearooz still holds a 1000 Guineas entry but unless she bolts up here that might be flying too high. She is useful though and should go close in her bid to defy her winner's penalty. New Jazz, Seraphim and Under The Storm could all get involved, whlie newcomer Jaidaa is worth noting for any positive market signals.
- Sadler's Soul
- Nearooz
- Jaidaa
