€20,000 yearling. 2nd foal. Half-sister to a winner in Eastern Europe by Linngari. Well held on two career bumper starts to date and looks no nearer to a breakthrough success.
Yeats mare. Half-sister to fairly useful 2m4f chase winner Copper West. Poor in a number of point-to-point starts since the turn of the year and well held on bumper debut at Cork last month despite the finishing position. Looks up against it.
Daughter of Oscar out of a Supreme Leader mare. Winner of her latest point-to-point start last month before making no impression finishing down the field on a disappointing buper effort at Down Royal last month. Others look more convincing.
Daughter of Shantou out of a Unfuwain mare. Half-sister to three winners. Dam showed little in bumpers. Well held in three bumper starts since the turn of the year and difficult to see any light at the end of the tunnel just yet.
Placed five times from eight starts in bumpers. Not seen since August and possibly best watched on return to action for a yard short on runners in the last month.
Doyen filly out of an Executive Park mare. Slight improvement on third bumper start since December earlier this month finishing seventh of 12 beaten a little over 8L but much more needed here.

Stowaway filly, going well in bumpers including runner-up finishes at Ballinrobe and Ayr before disappointing over C&D when last seen in December. Not completely ruled out but has last run and a break to shake off.

Beat Hollow newcomer closely related to smart hurdler and bumper winner Champ. Sent off at 11/4 on debut at Wexford earlier this month only for the mare to pull up 2f out. Clearly non the worse and returns quickly here.
Anabaa Blue filly. Dam, bumper/fairly useful 2m hurdle winner. Is yet to transfer winning point-to-point form to the track and hard to make a case for on form to hand.
Daughter of Court Cave out of a Norwich mare. Closely related to bumper/2m5f - 3m hurdle/chase winner Always Lion and point-to-point victor Lion's Choice. Looks a future prospect.

Landed a soft ground Point-to-point in March and all the rage on Bumper debut last month but caught too far back and eventually third before an improved performance to be just beaten at Navan in January. Leading player for respected connections.
Yet to fire in a number of bumper starts between December 2017 and when last seen in July. Has a break to overcome on return here and losing run looks set to continue.
By Scorpion out of a Westerner mare. Dam unraced half-sister to hurdler/chaser It's A Close Call. Not disgraced on debut in a Down Royal bumper last month. Likely to improve with time.
Mare had run well in three bumpers prior to February's lacklustre Gowran Park effort before finishing second of 15 beaten 3¾L in a Cork bumper on soft ground last month. Holds leading claims.
Daughter of Shantou out of a Un Desperado mare. Sister to point-to-point/bumper/useful 2m hurdle winner Zero Ten. Dam placed in a bumper. Appears to be one for the future being in the right hands.
Winner of an October point-to-point over 3m. Daughter of Robin Des Champs cost £48,000 at the Cheltenham November sales. Improvement required based on a couple of below par efforts since February.
Daughter of Shantou out of a Un Desperado mare. Has shaped with credit in all six bumper starts so far, though never truly looked like winning one. Losing streak looks set to continue.
Daughter of Yeats out of a Kenmare mare. Sister to winners Who's My Jockey and 2m2f - 3m hurdler, Blixt. Yard had a 41% win and place strike rate at this festival in the last four years in bumpers coming in to this seasons meeting.
Getaway filly out of a Highest Honor mare. Half-sister to useful 2m - 2m5f hurdle/chase winner Ixora and 3m hurdle winner Oscar Star. May need a couple of starts to eventually find here way.

Forecasts

Larquebuse (3/1), Miss Cedille (6/1), Wendy Howell (6/1), The Getaway Star (13/2), Drury (8/1), Ebaa Hana (12/1), Robin Des Sivola (14/1), Betsy Boots (14/1), Mal De Mer (16/1), Dona Katharina (20/1), Another Copper (20/1), Ragged Rose (25/1), Shantou Bay (25/1), Blue Heather (25/1), Arthur's Baby (33/1), Last One (33/1), Inspired Choice (66/1), Barangarou (66/1), Allure Of Light (100/1)

Verdict

With the experienced runners not looking top class it may be worth siding with the Willie Mullins debutante WENDY HOWELL who is closely related to Hurricane Fly a winner of 22 Grade 1 contests. The Mullins yard have a solid record at this meeting with bumpers in recent years and this daughter of Yeats can see off expected challenges of Larquebuse, Miss Cedille and Drury who is expected to be better than his debut run at Wexford earlier this month.
  1. Wendy Howell
  2. Larquebuse
  3. Drury
