Had every chance in a Punchestown handicap hurdle in February when taking a tumble at the last over a similar trip. Had shown plenty of promising previously without getting his head in front. Worthy of consideration.

The form of his debut run at Tramore has already produced a useful looking winner and the gelding built on that run to land a Punchestown 2m4f maiden hurdle when last seen in February. Likely more to come on handicap debut for respected connections.

Took on the likes of Samcro and Summerille Boy as a first season novice but he has been frustrating since including in a couple of starts when not beaten far at Navan and Limerick recently. Liable to find a few stronger in the finish once again.

Verdict

INVINCIBLE CAVE for the Grand National winning trainer/jockey combination of Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell, looks to have an ideal profile to land the spoils here following on from an impressive maiden hurdle win at Thurles over this trip in February beating seven rivals by 36L. Insult for the Henry De Bromhead yard will look to build on a win in a Punchestown 2m4f maiden hurdle when last seen in February and can emerge as the biggest danger. Stablemate The Red Menace and the John Magnier-owned Bootlegger appear capable of hitting the frame. While the Noel Meade pair Plan Of Attack and Dream Conti could go well at a price.
