Mahler gelding out of a Presenting mare. Cost €50,000 as a three-year-old. Deservedly off the mark at the third time of asking for connections winning a Navan bumper by 2L last month. Likely to run well once again.
Cost €125,000 as a three-year-old and rewarded each way interest when finishing third of nine on debut in a Limerick bumper in December before winning at Punchestown when last seen in February. More improvement required in this company.
Off the mark at the third time of asking for connections in a Thurles bumper last month. Previously finished 10L adrift of Andy Dufresne in January and may have to settle for more place money.
By Excellent Art out of a Exceed And Excel mare. Readied to do the business on debut 18 months ago when taking a Roscommon bumper over 2m in September. Disappointed at Cork on hurdling debut when last seen in November 2017. Best watched on return.
Brother to a winner, and closely related to two more winners, including this yard's smart hurdler/chaser Blackstairmountain. Won on bumper debut in September and not disgraced behind Envoi Allen in February but has plenty to prove in this contest.
Unraced Kapgarde gelding cost connections €220,000 at the sales in June 2017. Won on bumper debut over 13 months ago but floundered over hurdles at Gowran Park when last seen in November. Place claims back on the level.
Son of Jeremy bought for €28,000 at the sales. Point-to-point winner last May before landing a Navan bumper in good style when last seen in December. Respected second string.
Gelding by Arcadio out of a Flemensfirth mare. Cost €2,000 as a foal rising to €3,000 as a yearling. Dam unraced half-sister to point-to-point winner The Cat's Away out of half-sister to 3m hurdle winner Outfield. Looks a future prospect.

The Gordon Elliott-yard have won this contest for the last two years and the impressive and highly touted ANDY DUFRESNE will look to build on his facile debut win at Down Royal in January when pushed clear 1f out, staying on strongly to win easily by a widening 10L. Stablemate, The Very Man, the Willie Mullins-trained Mt Leinster and Battle Of Midway will attempt to make life difficult but it will appear to be all without success.
