Used to have a decent strike rate over hurdles but those stats have taken a bit of a hit in a couple of disappointing efforts last month. First time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Distance winner of a Thurles maiden hurdle in January before finding the step in to novice company too much when finishing seventh of nine last month at Limerick. Others preferred for win purposes.
Winner of one of his nine start over hurdles but has hit the frame on a further six occasions. Ran well in defeat at Clonmel on Thursday and is worthy of consideration on a quick return for inform yard.
In good form last summer including wins at Down Royal and Limerick for trainer Henry De Bromhead. Never been the easiest to catch right and best watched on stable debut.
Off the mark in a maiden at Thurles prior to finding 2m4f beyond him here in February when beaten over 15L finishing fifth of 14 on good to yielding ground. Any market move would be worth noting dropping back down in trip.
Consistent sort, got off the mark at the fifth time of asking in 2m maiden hurdle at Gowran Park in November and was not disgraced in a Grade 3 hurdle at Fairyhouse in December. Running well in defeat in two starts last month and shortlisted here.
Off the mark over hurdles when taking a 2m handicap hurdle at Leopardstown last month over this trip. Beaten since but likely more to come for respected trainer/jockey combination.
Has been in some competitive company and came good when winning with a little bit in hand over C&D last month beating six rivals 2¾L. Not disgraced at Ascot last month behind Legal History over a similar trip. Likeable type who should be in the mix.
13-race maiden over hurdles who has been well held in a couple of starts since last month. First time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.
Winner of two of his six starts this term including a C&D success in October. Form in two starts since February is worrying and other currently look open to more improvement.
Six-race maiden hurdler for a yard currently having a quiet time of it. Well held in three starts since the turn of the year and needs to improve on even his best form to take a hand here.
Won over hurdles at the fifth time of asking in a Limerick handicap hurdle last month over this trip beating nine rivals over 7L on heavy ground. Best win and place form has come with plenty cut.
80-rated handicapper on the Flat who won at Cork on good ground earlier this month. Without a win over hurdles but was not disgraced in a Leopardstown maiden behind Klassical Dream in December. Worthy of consideration on handicap debut.
By Yeats out of a Toulon mare. Well held on all three maiden hurdle starts since the turn of the year. Up against it but market likely to reveal expectations on handicap debut.
Tipperary maiden hurdle winner had been in good form prior to starts at Leopardstown in December and on a British raid on Ludlow last month. Hasn't shown enough to be of interest here.
Remains an 11-race maiden over hurdles but had been running well in defeat in a number of starts last summer. Not seen since a heavy loss at Navan in November when beaten 47L and easy to look elsewhere in this contest.
Five-race maiden hurdler who had was running well on the Flat during last summer. Not seen since finishing fourth of 16 over 1m5f at Leopardstown in September. Worth a market check from shrewd trainer who does well with this sort at this meeting.
Couldn't carry form of Flat win over when returning to hurdles at Punchestown where fifth of eight as favourite in November before disappointing at Leopardstown on St Stephens day. Worth a market check with trainer among the winners Sunday.
Eight race maiden without a win over hurdles in seven starts including a 61L defeat last month in a Down Royal novice maiden hurdle over 2m5½f. Still looking no nearer to breakthrough success.
Modest 55-rated handicapper on the Flat winning last start on a Bath raid over in a 1m6f contest in September. Has hit the frame on a couple of occasions in four starts over hurdles and can go well here without troubling the judge.
Well held when down the field in a number of disappointing hurdle spins since April last year and a 54L when last seen in December. Hard to make a case for the Presenting gelding on form to hand.
Made very little impact in all three of his previous starts over hurdles and needs to step things up considerably.
