Half-brother to several winners (cost ÂŁ6,500 as a yearling) most of their victories coming over sprint trips. First two-year-old runner for the yard this year who are 1-26 with juvenile debutantes; never run one on debut on Fibresand.
Newcomer ÂŁ52,000 yearling; half-brother to a juvenile 5f winner Magic Applause, dam a maiden (best effort over 7f). Yard 0-11 with juveniles this year (only 6% strike-rate with debutants overall); might find one too good.
One of the two in this with experience although he looked to need the outing on his debut over 5f at Musselburgh (ran green). Offered something to work on (yard rarely have debut juvenile winners); progress likely if he handles Fibresand.
The other one in the field who has had an outing (was very green but hinted at ability0 when ultimately well held over 5f on the AW at Kempton. Should progress although may need another run or two yet; first experience of Fibresand.
Trainer has had made a terrific start with his juveniles (6-10; 4-7 with debutantes). Cost €15,000 as a yearling out of a dam who was a two-year-old 6f winner, sire was a high-class sprinter in US and Europe; leading chance on debut.
Second two-year-old runner of the season for a yard who are 0-63 with their debutants in this division. Cost €6,000 as a yearling; dam maiden half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Party Boss; hard to imagine her winning this on debut.
Forecasts
Mystic Knight (2/1), Constitutional (5/2), Littledidyouknow (10/3), Ambyfaeirvine (9/2), Hollaback Girl (16/1), Mumsbirthdaygirl (33/1)
Experience can often be vital in juvenile races and that may give Mystic Knight an edge here having shaped quite well on his debut at Musselburgh with the stable two-year-olds often being better with a run. However Archie Watson has been in tremendous form in this division already this year and his Due Diligence filly LITTLEDIDYOUKNOW is another who can make a winning debut. Karl Burke runs Constitutional and he enters the picture despite the fact that the yard have yet to open their account in the juvenile division this year. Ambyfaeirvine come from a yard that do well on the Fibresand usually with older horses but he needs watching in the market.
