Showed some fair form over hurdles/fences when with Micky Hammond; looked to offer something to work on for this yard but on the verge of going the wrong way. Looked a hard ride last time (especially for this rider); cheekpieces now removed.
Had a breathing operation late last year (already losing his form) and has returned from surgery in a very lack-lustre manner. Pulled-up and struggling when last seen over 2m7f at Bangor; signs of rejuvenation needed before being worthy of support.
Took five attempts for this fair sort on the Flat to get off the mark over hurdles but did so on her second handicap start. Narrow winner at Newcastle on a decent surface despite conceding first run; up 4lb but still one for the shortlist.
25-1 and never on terms in a decent Newcastle novice hurdle last time (winner won again since); previously had shown ability at Kelso (despite looking green). Type to do better in handicaps (now makes her debut); one to note in the market.
Never really seen at his best here (0-6) although he did run well at Newcastle last time (scene of his last win) finishing third to two well-treated types. Only one to come from off the pace; mark acceptable if he can run a decent race here.
Very modest form over hurdles having looked the type who may be suitable for handicaps she's been pulled-up twice (first two runs for this yard; both on soft). Bled last time but now back at 2m on a sound surface; may do better but comes with risks.
Little impact so far over hurdles even when sent into handicaps (pulled-up in both his starts in that sphere). Now drops in trip on a sounder surface with the blinkers going on for the first-time; might not be a forlorn hope as yet.
One of two runners from this yard the addition of cheekpieces to his usual tongue-tie appears to have done little for his form or demeanour. Just looks to be going through the motions at the moment; struggled from a long way out last time.
Fair on the Flat (five-time AW winner at up to 1m); so far shown very little over hurdles that would make him of interest. Three novice starts have all been rather discouraging and offered little hope for this switch to handicaps; jumps poorly.
Poor maiden hurdler (0-10) who might just have improved a little for having wind surgery. Produced her best effort to date last time off a 5lb lower mark when second over C&D (pulled clear of rest); repeat of that run would put her in the mix here.
Registered his second career win over C&D (testing conditions) last month (6lb higher here) with the second successful since. However he's not the most reliable (well beaten on the Flat last time) and risks attached if backing him to score again.
With a career record that reads 0-34 (0-17 over hurdles) he's hardly the most compelling proposition even in this lowly grade. Tried over fences last time (100-1; out of his depth) he returns to hurdles off a career-low mark, makes little appeal.
