Progressive mare, Listed winner at Pontefract last summer. Has won a pair of Class 2 races on AW this winter including last time at Wolverhampton when stepped up in trip. That form boosted since and drop back to 7f holds no fears; should go well.
Impressive strike-rate of five wins from 10 starts including two Listed wins. Won on reappearance at Chelmsford despite refusing to settle and expected to go well for a yard in form.
Made it four wins from her last five starts at Kempton last month. Looks like a specialist over this trip and ran well on her sole try at this venue so she has plenty in her favour with the yard in excellent form.
A winner of two of her last three starts but has plenty to find at this level and while the French raiders enjoyed three winners on the card at this meeting last year, this mare doesn't appeal as a likely type. Wears cheekpieces.
Yard have enjoyed a fantastic winter on AW and this mare won a 5f Listed race here in February. Not at her best back on turf last time but she's three from four at this course and looks like a lively player if she handles the step up in trip.
A winner of two of her four starts and not beaten far in a Listed event at Deauville last time out. That form hasn't worked out particularly well and wide draw is a negative here but unexposed and gets the services of Moore.
Just got the better of Castle Hill Cassie at Wolverhampton in January and only narrowly denied in a Listed race back at that venue subsequently. Has won on Polytrack, yard in form and looks like a leading contender if she handles this course.
C&D winner but that's her only success on AW in 13 outings and she has plenty to find at these weights. A return to this trip looks a positive at least.
Recorded a career best effort when winning a 1m Listed race here in November, despite that not being the strongest race for the grade. The drop in trip is a slight concern but she's drawn well and the yard are flying at present.
Only narrowly denied in her bid for a four-timer in a Listed race at Deauville in December. Probably needed her reappearance run at Chantilly earlier in the month and she's not one to underestimate here with more improvement on the cards.
Progressive on AW this winter but that's at a much lesser level than this and she's needs marked improvement to even finish in the places here.
Both her wins have come over this trip, including a course win in September. Progress has halted since though and hard to fancy stepped up in class here.
Forecasts
Rasima (7/2), Island Of Life (9/2), Crossing The Line (9/2), Gorgeous Noora (6/1), Clon Coulis (7/1), Heavenly Holly (9/1), Silvery Mist (11/1), Castle Hill Cassie (12/1), Pattie (20/1), Cry Baby (25/1), Toy Theatre (33/1), Treasure Me (40/1)
A truly wide-open event but it might be worth taking a chance on CASTLE HILL CASSIE who is improving with every run and already has a Listed win to her name. Clon Coulis, Island Of Life and Crossing The Line are three more progressive sorts with solid claims in an excellent renewal of this race. The French raider Silvery Mist is another worth consideration with a prep run under her belt.
- Castle Hill Cassie
- Clon Coulis
- Island Of Life
