C&D winner last season and held his form well since; up 4lb for a solid effort to win on the AW latest puts him on a career highest mark though. No easy task on these terms.
Versatile regarding the ground and knows what to do when he gets his head in front. Looked in the grip of the handicapper when last seen though and needs to be at his best. Rider's claim helps but possibly not enough.
Hasn't won since July 2016 but is dangerously well handicapped as a result. Yard always to be respected with one of this type and possible he's on the way back after a decent effort on the AW last time. One to consider.
Reasonably well handicapped and won on his seasonal bebut from a 1lb higher mark last April. Might need more give underfoot though.
Been in good heart on the AW of late until disappointing last time out. Races from a 3lb lower mark on turf but needs to prove he's as effective on grass.
Highly experienced campaigner that has numerous pieces of solid form to his name; notably a good effort to chase home Marchee over C&D last September. Weighted to reverse the form and can be thereabouts if primed after his winter break.
Suited by trip and ground; also on a very handy mark on the pick of his efforts. Recent AW form not so good though. Has a bit to prove.
Still has scope for improvement and his win at Nottingham last times reads well in the context of this race. Has to be a player from just a 2lb higher mark. Different ground conditions not expected to be too much of a problem.
Won on the AW in December but lost his way a touch since. Set to race from 7lb above his last winning mark on turf and others look better treated at present.
Recent AW form is nothing out of the ordinary but is only 1lb above his last winning mark on turf. Still has something to find on balance though.
Been an expensive favourite to follow on the AW the last twice and in danger of becoming frustrating. The pick of his turf form is reasonable but looks one to be wary of after those flops on the AW.
