Brazen Beau half-brother to useful 5f/6f winner Ascot Day , and cost £70,000 as a yearling. Yard 8-36 with juvenile newcomers at Newmarket in last 5 years.
Dubawi half-brother to top-class miler Ribchester and 1¼m winner Golconda Prince. Stablemate of City Walk, and looks the pick of yard's runners on pedigree, albeit bred for further than 5f.

By Kodiac out of Queen Mary winner Anthem Alexander, so very much bred to be a sprinting two-year-old, as treflected in his sales price of 600,000 gns. Yard has a 30% strike-rate with debutants over the past year.

Ivawood colt who should be precocious, but failed to meet market expectations on recent debut at Windsor. Likely to leave that effort behind in due course, but this looks tougher.
Heeraat colt out of 7f Listed winner Radio Gaga. Quite a cheap purchase, but trainer's only previous two-year-old runner this year won at Newbury last week, and that means he shouldn't be dismissed.

Sir Percy colt out of a maiden who stayed 1m. Bred to need a stiffer test, and others much more appealing at first glance.

Boats a fine sprinting pedigree, and ran really well when second of 17 to Show Me Show Me in the Brocklesby Stakes at Doncaster. That experience will stand him in good stead against the newcomers.

Stablemate of Full Verse. Dam, a winner over 1½m. has produced several black-type winners at 1m and further, so chances are that this Oasis Dream colt will need further before he can blossom.

Forecasts

Strong Power (2/1), Full Verse (9/4), Well Of Wisdom (5/1), Electrical Storm (7/1), City Walk (12/1), Lexington Quest (20/1), Percy Green (22/1), Millionaire Waltz (33/1)

Verdict

Never easy to be adamant about juvenile newcomers, but FULL VERSE ticks every conceivable box, and ought to be hard to beat if living up to his pedigree and/or price-tag. Electrical Storm is bred to need another furlong or so, but is another to catch the eye on breeding, and is respected, with Brocklesby runner-up Strong Power setting the form standard, and likely to have an advantage over most in terms of experience.
  1. Full Verse
  2. Electrical Storm
  3. Strong Power
