Winner over this trip at Goodwood last season but generally disappointing thereafter. Races off a mark 4lb lower than for that victory on his first start since October.
C&D winner returned from a break to make a winning stable debut in a 6f AW contest at Chelmsford last time out. Raised 3lb for that victory and is one to note on her return to turf.
Winner twice at Bath last year including over this trip on seasonal debut. Form failed off however and interesting to see how he fares off a mark 2lb lower than for his most recent victory.
Unbeaten in two starts since joining this stable including over this trip at Wolverhampton last time out. Raised 5lb for that victory but has shown his best form so far on artificial surfaces.
In good form since joining this yard winning twice including over this trip last time out. Races off his 5lb lower turf mark here and is a notable runner in this contest.
Promising sixth over 6f at Lingfield earlier this month when returning from a break. Drop in distance should suit and market support would be notable in this contest.
Well beaten 10L ninth of 11 when debuting for this yard at Kempton (6f) last time out. Likely capable of better and is worth a check in the market having won here in the past.
C&D winner in good-to-soft ground maiden here in May 2017. Lightly-raced since but ran well on first start in over 18 months when 3L fourth of five at Newcastle (5f) last month.
Finished runner-up on three of his four starts since joining this stable. Beaten 2L over 6f at Kempton last time out but draw could have been kinder in this event.
Dual turf winner finished 2L second over 6f at Epsom (soft) last August. Well held in two subsequent starts but is well drawn on seasonal debut.
Returning from a break when finishing sixth over 6f at Wolverhampton earlier this month. Improvement likely but races off a mark 3lb higher than for her sole turf success.
Fair 6L sixth over 6f at Wolverhampton on his most recent start in December. Wide draw to overcome and drop in distance not certain to suit.
Three time winner but well held last of ten in a 5f handicap at Lingfield on seasonal debut last month. More needed if she is to to take this contest.
Forecasts
Enthaar (4/1), King Robert (9/2), Fair Cop (5/1), The Daley Express (7/1), Puds (7/1), Big Lachie (10/1), Han Solo Berger (12/1), Miracle Works (12/1), Smokey Lane (16/1), Bellevarde (25/1), Harry Beau (33/1), Pettochside (33/1), Peggie Sue (50/1)
PUDS returned to form when winning last time out and she is taken to follow-up that success with a victory in this competitive sprint handicap. Fair Cop showed she retains plenty of ability when returning at Newcastle last month and she can take second from a good draw while third place can go the way of King Robert who has won twice on the AW in recent times.
- Puds
- Fair Cop
- King Robert
