Ran on well to score at Huntingdon in January and was running respectable race when hampered and unseated rider in much better contest than this at Newbury last time. Stable still in tremendous form and looks one for the short list.

Styas well and needed very yard of near 3m trip to score at Haydock last time. Drop back in trip a concern but she's a fair sort and should be very much on the premises once again on this stiff uphill finish.

Seems to need at least this distance to produce best efforts and scored at around this trip at Catterick in December. Outpaced at Carlisle last time over 2m1f. First time cheekpieces may sharpen her up a little.

Has won twice on the Flat over 1m4f but has yet to score in four attempts over hurdles. Not bad effort last time at Sedgefield but may do better once tackling handicaps.

Georgie Bear208

250/1
Proclamation mare who ran very poorly on only starts so far when beaten a country mile in finishing last of 10 in Kelso bumper. Impossible to fancy.
6
Horse silk
33/1
Maiden point-to-pointer has joined good yard capable of improving horses. Shaped with a little promise but ultimately well beaten in five-runner Sedgefield event on Rules bow but better effort can't be completerly ruled out this time.

50/1
Connections forked out £30,000 after she finished second in a point-to-point bet there's been little to cheer in three runs under Rules so far. Step up in trip may help but needs to take a big step forward if she's going to figure.

BY leadng NH sire Kayf Tara but has shown only limited ability in two appearances to date in bumpers. Hurdles bow here for good yard but will need to improve dramatically if she's to be in the the shake-up.
9
Horse silk
25/1
Won Irish mares maiden point-to-point in November but sold cheaply soon after. Fair third on Rules debut at Sedgefield but not so good last time when distant last of three at Museelburgh.
10
Horse silk
100/1
Sleeping Indian filly who attracted market support and ran well for a long way on debut in Carlisle bumper. Hurdle bow here and wouldn't have to be a world beater to sneak into a place.
11
Horse silk
33/1
Irish raider who has generally shown poor form both on the Flat and over hurdles in seven winless starts thus far. Not disgraced though in two hurdles in Ireland and quite interesting that connections send her here in search of a first success.

Forecasts

Miss Delighted (5/4), Etamine Du Cochet (11/8), Sweet Vinetta (8/1), Calliope (11/1), Would You Bypass (25/1), Jupiters Way (33/1), Santa Anna (33/1), Mrs Davies (50/1), Apache Valley (100/1), Tara Force (125/1), Georgie Bear (250/1)

Verdict

With her yard's hot streak continuing this should go to ETAMINE DU COCHET who was unlucky when unseating rider in a much better race than this at Newbury last time. Haydock winner Miss Delighted may find this trip plenty sharp enough for her but is respected, while the opposite is true of Sweet Vinetta who may improve for this longer journey. Irish raider Santa Ana and the unexposed Apache Valley are also worth a glance.
  1. Etamine Du Cochet
  2. Sweet Vinetta
  3. Apache Valley
