Has been on the wane since a good run of form at Chester last summer. Has moved to a yard where the owner's horses go to revive their fortunes and there were positive signs when dropped to this level last time. On a career low mark.
Romped home over C&D by 5L a year ago and has been in the handicapper's grip since. Now just 2lb above that mark but there were no apparent excuses for a poor effort last time.
Consistent enough these days off this sort of mark but his strike rate is only 1-23. Needs to find that bit extra to turn narrow defeats into a victory and maybe the fitting of cheekpieces can achieve that.
Gained a first win in two years at Redcar last May and he is yet to make the frame in seven AW starts. However, he was not beaten far on his return here 11 days ago and is dropped in grade off a most attractive mark.
Twice a course winner (one victory over this trip) but those wins came in selling/claiming company. Still yet to win a handicap but ran a blinder under this rider in better grade here last week when a change of tactics almost paid dividends.
Scored here in December and narrowly failed in February. Last two runs have been poor though and she is probably best watched until showing more.
C&D winner three weeks ago under this rider prior to being a beaten favourite under a penalty when not getting the best of runs. Just 2lb above that last winning mark and 7lb below that of another course win a year ago.
Has been placed on both previous visits here but his form has taken a turn for the worse on his last four starts.
Promised better than this when fourth at Ascot as a juvenile. Has obviously not been easy to train but there were some positive signs at the turn of the year. Another absence since raises a concern and cheekpieces on for first time.
Going nowhere quickly at the moment and finished last of five in a seller 11 days ago. Cheekpieces added but that will not be enough.
Turf winner with a modest AW record. Better than this at her peak but she has been well below her best on her last five outings.
Gained a first win in two years on fourth start for this yard when winning a low grade race over C&D in February. A follow up at this level looks less likely.

Patrick Morris saddles two in the Koukash silks, Energia Flavio and Gabrial's Kaka, with the market likely to be informative as both produced encouraging efforts last time. Snooker Jim should be winning soon off this mark but may need further and Traveller needs the cheekpieces to work. Ubla and ABUSHAMAH are preferred with the former having won here three weeks ago from a wide draw before getting trapped from an inside berth last time. Gay Kelleway's charge is feared but the selection comes from a yard whose horses are running really well and the drop in class, following a promising comeback run, earns him the vote.
- Abushamah
- Ubla
- Energia Flavio
