Clodovil colt whose price rose from €14,000 as a foal to £20,000 as a yearling and whose dam won over 5½f. Positive jockey booking hints at prominent display.
Epaulette colt from the family of high-class miler Observatory. Unsold as a foal and is probably best watched unless the market speaks in his favour.
Colt by Acclamation who fetched 32,000gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to a 7f AW winner. Likely to need further than this, but is one to keep an eye on.
By 2,000 Guineas winner Gleneagles, he is a half-brother to a couple of 1m2f winners. Taking pedigree, but one which suggests this distance will be on the sharp side.
Baltic King colt whose dam won over sprint distances. Stable already among the winners with its juveniles, so he is very much one to consider.
Son of Excelebration whose price rose from 13,000gns as a foal to £38,000 as a yearling. and whose dam was placed in Listed company as a juvenile. Stable usually strong with its youngsters, so any money for him would be interesting.
Camacho colt who fetched £28,000 as a yearling and whose dam won over 7f as a juvenile. Stable can ready a debutant so he is another to note in the betting.
Cable Bay filly who cost £30,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to a couple of winners from 7f-1m3f. Top stable traditionally strong in this sphere so she is clearly of interest.
Daughter of Stimulation who is a sister to a 6f AW winner. Probably best watched unless there are positive betting vibes.
Forecasts
Album (9/4), Klopp of The Kop (11/4), Chattanooga Boy (3/1), Separate (11/1), Littleton Hall (14/1), Highland Chief (16/1), Isobar Wind (16/1), Show Me Heaven (33/1), Barry Magoo (66/1)
Nothing to go on other than breeding and strength of stables in the juvenile department. Isobar Wind's yard has been among the winners with its two-year-olds so he is one to bear in mind, but a tentative vote goes to KLOPP OF THE KOP, who has an entry in the valuable Super Sprint at this course and may be sharp enough to score on his debut. Others with taking pedigrees include Highland Chief and Littleton Hall, while Separate represents a yard which is traditionally powerful in this department and Album is also of interest.
- Klopp of The Kop
- Isobar Wind
- Highland Chief
