In fine form and has won three of his last four starts in handicaps. Penalties offset by young rider's 10lb allowance but will need to be on top form to go in again.
Won Bangor 2m7f novice hurdle in November and failed by just a neck in similar event there penultimate start. Faded quickly at Uttoxeter latest and needs to bounce back if he is to trouble the judge. Represents last year's wining jockey/trainer.
Has shown promise in two bumpers on testing ground and it wil be interesting to see how he fares over an extra mile on his hurdling bow. Could be in the shake-up getting weight from the top two.
Showed little in two starts for Charlie Longsdon and pulled up on debut for current yard at Uttoxeter last month. Wind surgery since but looks to have too much on his plate.
Appears best on testing ground as best form came penultimate start when second on heavy going in Hexham 2m4f novice hurdle. Not out of it on the figures and would be helped by any ease underfoot.
Shown nothing in four starts to date at up to 2m4f and slim hopes rest on this longer trip bringing about improvement. Hard to enthuse over though.
Cost connections £24,000after winning Irish maiden point-to-point in December. Makes Rules debut but may find this tough unless market suggests otherwise.
£18,000 purchasing making Rules debut for new yard having won Irish mares maiden point-to-point last time. Stable in decent form but this could be a tough baptism.
Forecasts
Trio For Rio (10/11), Let's Get At It (5/2), Big Nasty (6/1), Pieceoftheaction (10/1), Victory Echo (14/1), Go To Court (16/1), Real Armani (100/1), Langness (200/1)
BIG NASTY is only a hopeful selection as he makes his hurdles bow getting weight from two proven rivals in Let's Get At It and Trio For Rio. He has shaped well enough in bumpers and could surprise. Let's Get At It is in great form but has his penlaties to concede and will do well to go in again, while Trio For Rio threw in a poor effort last time. He is not out of it if bouncing back. Pieceoftheaction looks bets of the rest.
- Big Nasty
- Let's Get At It
- Pieceoftheaction
