Return to hurdling did little to address a loss of form and blinkers added this time. Faces a stiff task off topweight.
Imposing individual who looks a real chasing type. Has improved with each run over hurdles and has little extra to find to take an ordinary race such as this.
Lightly-raced Milan gelding who has improved since going handicapping. Sent off as one of the market leaders last time when upped in trip and he has the pedigree to improve further now tackling 3m.
One of a few old-timers in this who has shown an odd glimpse of form lately. However, it is four years since he last tasted success and the young guns may have too much fire power.
Foiled by a well-backed rival before getting off the mark over C&D on heavy ground last month. He did not seem ideally suited to the tight turns here that day but his stamina got him through. As a result these quicker conditions may find him out.
Ordinary point-to-point form and has looked one paced in each of his starts under rules. Step up to 3m brought some improvement at Wexford last week when he had previous winners behind. Looks sure to be reassessed hence the quick reappearance.
His last victory came almost four years ago off a mark of 135. Still retains some ability but does not look good enough to fend off some of these more progressive types.
Showed a very game attitude to get the better of a stable companion over 2m4f at Cork. A 5lb rise means a step up in class but possible there is better to come at this trip and he rates as one of the leading contenders.
Scored over this trip at Cork about a year ago but has failed to recapture that form since. Has been chasing lately and her mark may need to fall a lot further.
Failed to complete any of his starts in point-to-points and has been well held over hurdles too. Others look to hold much stronger credentials at present.
Comfortably held by Napoleon Blue on Thurles form at this trip. Has yet to threaten and it would be interesting to see what she might offer if ridden more prominently.
Retired by connections in August 2017, but in such rude health in the field he was brought back for an emotional Hexham success in September. Has been consistent since and reverts to hurdling where he is potentially well-handicapped.
Pulled up on first two starts in handicaps but produced a better effort in a Clonmel 3m handicap hurdle last time finishing fourth of 18 beaten 6¾L. Needs to improve once again in this company.
