Improving 98-rated handicapper for trainer Peter Hiatt. Last seen finishing sixth of eight beaten 15L in a class 2 Newmarket contest in October over 1m. Can go well on stable debut but yard two from 24 in the last 14 days is a concern.
Dandy Man filly was a winner at Navan in May over the minimum trip on good to firm and has run well over this trip in this grade beaten 3L when last seen in October. Worth a market check.
Gained second success in last three starts when tackling 1m for the first time at Musselburgh in September before disappointing on her final start for trainer Richard Fahey last October. Market likely to be the best guide on stable bow.
Landed a four-timer last summer and made the frame in all five starts up to the end of the season in October. Should be among the leading players.
Distance winner of a Naas three-year-old handicap over 12 months ago off a 9lb lower mark. Running well in defeat since including on final start of last season in June. Not seen for nine months and may need the run on return.
Won over this trip in a Roscommon handicap off a 5lb lower mark. Went on to run well in defeat including when last seen in a Galway 1m½f handicap in October finishing fifth of 10. Place claims on return.
Landed a Listowel handicap in September over this trip off a 3lb lower mark, but tended to struggle in his races towards the end of the season in October. Others preferred for win purposes.
In terrific form towards the end of last season winning his last two starts in October. Carrying 9lb more than first win but more improvement would not surprise on seasonal debut.
Finished third of nine beaten over 6L over 1m here at this venue in September. Generally well held since including on a couple of runs in November. Easy to look elsewhere.
Course winner that has won over this trip. Her win here in October was off a 18lb lower mark and may need some relief from the handicapper in the coming weeks but holds moderate place claims in this contest.
Won a 1m maiden on the Flat at Listowel in September on heavy ground. Well beaten when finishing down the field beaten 66L behind Ocean Voyage on seasonal debut at Cork last month. Hasn't shown enough to be of interest here.
Maiden winner at Fairyhouse but she's failed to make her presence felt in five subsequent starts towards the end of last season including a 10½L defeat at Leopardstown in October. One of five in the line-up from the yard.
One from eight starts on turf with her sole win coming in a Cork two-year-old handicap in October. Well held in two starts since and looks up against it here.
Forecasts
Red Tea (4/1), Thiswaycadeaux (5/1), Dianthus (6/1), Stormy Belle (8/1), Crotchet (8/1), Waitingfortheday (8/1), Innamorare (11/1), Tuamhain (11/1), Quinns Red Rose (14/1), Merited (16/1), Vallambrosa (20/1), Julia's Magic (20/1), So Familiar (28/1)
The Gavin Cromwell-trained INNAMORARE can complete a hat-trick wins here following on from a couple of tight successes in October last year. Thiswaycadeaux has been running well in defeat since her win at Roscommon in September and looks capable of hitting the frame here along with a couple of the Joseph O'Brien battalion Red Tea and Crotchet.
- Innamorare
- Thiswaycadeaux
- Crotchet
