Won a seller over C&D last summer but form taken an about turn since; has dropped a long way in the ratings; but not been too far away since returning from wind surgery. Place claims on these terms.
Appreciated the drop to 5f latest and won over C&D with a little in hand. Up 6lb here but has been consistent of late and likely to be thereabouts if running true to form.
Set to race from 15lb below his last wining mark but has been frustrating to follow lately and starts for his current yard have been modest. Others more appealing.
4lb higher than his last winning mark but has yet to win over the minimum distance and has only raced over this distance once before; has gone well here before but possible he'll find things happening too quickly.
In good form if her latest start is omitted from the profile (the mare fell after clipping heels soon after the start). Assuming she's no mental scare, the mare can go close in this company. (Just 4lb higher than her last win; had Fareeq 1l behind.)
Won over C&D on his penultimate start but not so good latest when returning from a short break; work to do to reverse the form with Fareeq on a literal reading of that form.
Won on his debut run as a juvenile but failed to reproduce decent form for Simon Crisford; been much the same for his current yard too. Hard to recommend.
Ran well to finish close to Fareeq latest, responding well to the cheekpieces in the process. 6lb better off with that rival here and a big threat to all if he doesn't pull too hard in the early stages. High on the shortlist.
Consistent in low grade handicaps and handy that he goes well at this course. No secrets whatsoever at his age though and has a stiff test ahead on face value.

Forecasts
Fareeq (5/2), Big Time Maybe (3/1), Come On Dave (3/1), Prominna (7/1), At Your Service (10/1), Awsaaf (10/1), Pharoh Jake (14/1), Mercers (16/1), Entertaining Ben (16/1), Sandfrankskipsgo (25/1)
Fareeq is a good starting point and is holding his form well enough to at least make the frame. However, there may be more value in supporting PROMINNA in his bid to turn the tables on his old rival. The gelding is 6lb better off with Chris Wall's gelding this time and , with Luke Morris back in the plate, the portents for a big run are positive. Mercers also has form that ties in with a few of these and she too can be a force if she can banish the memory of her mishap last time out. Big Time Maybe and Entertaining Ben are others to consider for place money.
