Improved on two previous hurdles starts for this yard when 22L third in a small field event at Doncaster (good) last time out. Tongue tie worn for the first time that day retained for handicap debut.
Fair fifth in a competitive handicap hurdle over an extended 2m at Musselburgh (good) a fortnight ago. Likely more needed with blinkers replacing the cheekpieces worn of late.
Returning from a break when winning by a nose in a 2m handicap hurdle at Plumpton (good-to-soft) last month. Has to defy a 4lb rise in the weights if he is to follow-up in this event.
Pulled up on both handicap starts so far most recently at Musselburgh (2m4f, good-to-soft) last month. Hopes appear to rest with a drop in distance suiting.
Well beaten in two starts since returning from wind surgery and handicap mark is falling as a result. Interesting to see how he fares with blinkers tried for the first time.
Broke his maiden at the 43rd attempt when winning a handicap hurdle over 2m at Wetherby (good) in February. Well held on only subsequent completed start and others hold stronger claims.
Improved on two previous efforts since returning from a short break when 26L fourth in a selling handicap at Catterick (good-to-soft) a month ago. Further improvement needed to take this contest.
20 race maiden ran a fair race in finishing fifth over 2m at Wetherby (good) in February. Held by First Of Never on that form and visor tried for the first time.
