As with most early-season juvenile races a lot of guesswork is involved with only one of these having run before. The experience gained by Zulu Zander on his debut won’t have been lost on him and that should enable him to go close here. Two trainers that are always worth looking out for in early season two-year-old contests are Richard Fahey and Archie Watson, the former runs Mr Fudge who is well worth watching in the betting while the latter saddles SIX GUN. Watson has already saddled two first-time out juvenile winners this year and this one has the potential to be a third. Foad and Danny Ocean are two others worthy of respect in an interesting opener to the card.
- Six Gun
- Zulu Zander
- Mr Fudge
