Not won since 2017 but ended 2018 with possibly his best run since when second over 1m4f at Dundalk. Had a break since but 1lb lower still here so if ready to do himself justice he ought to go close.
Heavy ground 1m2f winner in France as a two-year-old but largely frustrating last season as she was winless. Interesting on Irish debut here and jockey booking certainly catches the eye.
Only won once for previous yard but ran some solid races in defeat last term and undoubtedly appreciates genuinely soft/heavy ground. Trip seemed an issue in lone previous try at it but worth another go and more rain the better.
Debut win for Peter Chapple-Hyam proved a false dawn as she failed to add to it and seemed regressive on the whole. New yard will try to untap some potential but risky proposition on the whole.
Put together a decent set of victories last season winning over 1m1f and 1m2f off a 3lb lower mark. Subsequent defeats on return to action last month temper enthusiasm for the moment.
Won four times for previous handler Jim Bolger but yet to add to that for this yard and two 10ths and two ninths at Dundalk this winter do little to encourage.
Won a 7f novice contest at Wolverhampton in December with plenty to spare before running a solid second over 1m1½f at the same course on handicap bow. First ever turf race here but no reason he can't be as effective so leading claims.
Remains a maiden and since moving to this yard he has finished no better than seventh so far. All of those races on AW so fingers crossed turf suits better but hard to be confident.
Won twice last season (1m3f and 1m4½f) and remained largely in good order until final two starts when she was totally out of sorts. Hopefully break has revived now and for all her handicap looks high enough she is capable here.
1m winner in January and has been in good order on the whole since including when upped to this trip for the first time latest as she finished second for the third time in four starts. Race-fit and in form so has excellent claims here.
Solid and consistent filly had been going up the handicap without getting her head in front last season. Up in trip here but having run well over hurdles last winter perhaps stamina will now be upped.
Not won since debut for Mick Channon in 2017 and changes stable several times since. Starts out for yet another new yard here but form not compelling enough to take a chance.

Jim Bolger has started this season in flying form and he has a good chance of continuing the run here with the progressive LATCHET who ran well on her first start over this sort of trip latest at Dundalk. Like the selection Captain Dan comes here race-fit and in form so rates an obvious threat. Tirmizi kept some good company last season and ought to be well capable here if ready on return.
- Latchet
- Captain Dan
