Verdict

With the Flat turf season in it's infancy, it's early days for the juveniles with the strong suspicion being that the market will provide the most relevant clues. In a field of newcomers, the horse with the most alluring overall profile is the £135,000 yearling ALMINOOR. However, there are also others to consider, not least the Archie Watson-trained Baileys Freedom, on account of the Lambourn trainers' fine strike-rate on the east coast of Scotland. However, without the market as a guide, we'll chance the well-drawn WAR OF CLANS who is bred to be speedy, and carries the Ontoawinner silks of the Brocklesby hero Show Me Show Me.
  1. War of Clans
  2. Baileys Freedom
  3. Alminoor
