Gelded son of Farhh who cost 16,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to a couple of winners from 1m to 1m4f. Belated debut, but worth a check in the betting for respected stable.
Out the back on debut at Nottingham. but was a completely different proposition when scoring with authority over 6f at Newcastle. Returns from a break over a trip which will suit so he is one for the short list.
No Nay Never colt who cost 130,000 gns and is a half-brother to a couple of winners on the AW. Fine start to his career when scoring in good style over 6f at this venue and longer trip ought to suit.
Well held on both starts over 1m in October, latterly at this venue. Looks one for handicaps further down the line.
Plenty of good form in five starts in maiden/novice company over a variety of distances as a juvenile. Likely to be thereabouts, but faces some decent opposition and may have to settle for a place once again.
Gelded son of Mayson who fetched €36.000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to 1m2f winner Be My Rock. Newcomer from a good yard and is one to note in the betting on debut.
Placed at Doncaster and Lingfield last summer, albeit beaten over 5L on both occasions. Makes his seasonal reappearance and should do better with a winter under his belt.
Oasis Dream colt from a family containing several winners. Underwent wind surgery before finishing fifth of 10 on debut at Lingfield recently and may do better this time. Stable looks to have a stronger representative in Chatham House.
American-bred filly who was bought for €50,000 as a juvenile. Debut for top stable so well worth a market check.
Forecasts
Daarik (6/5), Chatham House (5/2), Global Warning (11/2), Eardley Road (11/2), Desire For Freedom (16/1), George Formby (33/1), Osho (40/1), Farhhmoreexciting (50/1), Antidote (66/1)
Chatham House boasts solid juvenile form, but in Eardley Road and DAARIK he faces two previous winners who may be above average. The latter gets a narrow vote given he should improve markedly for stepping up in trip, but there are some interesting newcomers in Desire For Freedom, George Formby and Farhhmoreexciting so things are far from clear-cut.
