4/1
Course winner who has never been tried over 1m before (7f furthest); ran well over 6f last time (first-time blinkers) when just touched off by Crosse Fire. Claims if his stamina holds out (not assured); back on last winning mark.

Hammer Gunv13
Age: 6|  Weight: 9-7| J: P Mathers| T: D Shaw| OR:  78| CD
4/1
Course specialist, seven times winner here (dual C&D winner) who bounced back to form last time returned to his favourite course winning over C&D. Aided by a fall in the weights; 5lb rise still leaves him well weighted, finds plenty for pressure.

9/2
AW winner at Dundalk but getting his first taste of Fibresand having shaped well at Kempton last time over 7f (ran a little free). Only one previous try at this trip (finished third of seven); still unexposed in handicaps if he takes to this surface.

Still 2lb above his last winning mark; shaped better than the bare result last time at Wolverhampton over further, has won at this trip though. Would be of interest if he takes to this surface (first try on it); one to take into consideration.

Good record here in easier grades and has struggled to a certain extent up to this sort of level. Well held on Tapeta last time out and although a move back to the Fibresand is likely to help others are holding better chances.

Tagurp13
Age: 5|  Weight: 9-2| J: T Eaves| T: K A Ryan| OR:  73| CD
12/1
Dual C&D winner who has a built a solid profile on this surface but failed to land a blow after a break here last time when fourth to Hammer Gun. May not have been suited by the tactics (held up) last time; still has something to find here.

Blinkers are now reached for as he makes his Fibresand debut having run well below form last time returning from a long break over 1m at Kempton. Fully 14lb below his last winning mark but does have to show more zip before he's of interest.

Faces a stiff task making his Fibresand debut; comes here off the back of finishing last at Kempton over 7f. Yet to beat a horse home for this yard and best watched for now.

Majestic Moonp19

C&D winner but his losing run is starting to stack up now despite returning to form last time refitted with cheekpieces (retained here). Is potentially well weighted on his old form but does have that losing run to contend with.

Fingal's Cave84
Age: 7|  Weight: 8-11| J: K Stott| T: P A Kirby| OR:  68
16/1
Like a few in this contest he has a long losing run to cope with and found a decent run of (placed) form coming to an end last time in first-time cheekpieces (removed here). Appeared to take well to this surface before; needs to bounce back.

Mr Carbonator62
Age: 4|  Weight: 8-10| J: Jamie Gormley(3)| T: P A Kirby| OR:  67| CD
8/1
Dual C&D winner who underperformed when last seen here over a 4f longer trip; raced keenly, trip stretched him. Slipping down towards his last winning mark, will appreciate this trip far better, not without a chance.

Hardly impressed on his first start on this surface looking exposed and has work to do with several of today's rivals on that run. Wasn't knocked about but looks as though he'll be happier back on turf, surprise if he were to win this.

Verdict

A competitive 1m handicap with several making their Fibresand debuts and it’s one of that group MASTER DIVER who is of the most interest. He’s unexposed from a stable that do well with their runners here and he looks as though he’ll appreciate this trip. Hammer Gun can never be left out of calculations here and he along with Tum Tum whom he narrowly beat last time look among the main dangers. Juanito Chico is another who tries this surface for the first time but he shaped nicely last time and enters the mix along with the well weighted Majestic Moon and the back in trip Mr Carbonator.
