Infrequent winner and remains 5lb higher than last winning mark. Place possibilities on recent form but others better handicapped and wide draw to overcome.
Yet to score in six starts on the AW but ran close to his very best when only beaten a length at Newcastle on stable debut. Drawn well to race on the pace and likely to be involved.
Posted a career-best with a breakthrough success on stable debut at Chelmsford. Up 6lb but won with plenty in hand and likely there is more to offer. Leading contender.
Gained a sixth course win and first over this C&D last start. Up 4lb and while he'll be running on late, this requires a career-best.
Yet to add to too early successes back in 2015, although remains unexposed on the AW. Solid effort here last start but drop to minimum trip is a negative.
Both AW wins have come over this C&D, including when beating A Sure Welcome two starts back and then didn't get a clear run in a higher grade. Back in class and likely to go well.
Lightly-raced but proving inconsistent. Won over 6f here two starts back before proving unsuited by step up to 7f. Remains on a workable mark but remains better over a furlong further.
Last win came over this C&D and just 3lb higher. Ran well on return from an absence and won on his second run back last year. Primed to go well but wide draw a negative.
Sole win came last year over this trip at Lingfield and remains 8lb higher. Makes course debut from a poor draw and likely others better handicapped
Losing run stretches back to February 2017 but now 16lb lower. Has gone well fresh in the past and while not one to get carried away with for win purposes, could easily be involved off this mark.
Just one place in eight starts on the AW and although racing off 10lb lower than his turf mark, he needs to improve on his recent form to take advantage.
Forecasts
A Sure Welcome (3/1), Amazing Grazing (7/2), Miracle Works (11/2), Nibras Again (8/1), Canford Bay (12/1), The Establishment (14/1), Venturous (16/1), Union Rose (16/1), Sir Hector (16/1), Patrick (16/1), Van Gerwen (20/1)
MIRACLE WORKS has moved to a good trainer of sprinters and should have more to offer following a ready success. Nibras Again also ran well on his first start for his new yard and can go close while Union Rose also rates a danger back to his winning grade.
- Miracle Works
- Nibras Again
