Verdict

Could be an interesting battle as the Aga Khan-owned Kattani, Baladiya, trained by Dermot Weld and the Mick Halford-trained Sonaiyla, put it up to current Ballydoyle flop EMPIRE STATE. The Aidan O'Brien yard have taken this race in three of the last eight renewals and stable confidence must be taken as high to make it four from nine with the Scat Daddy colt. In a wide open contest Philipine Cobra could go well at a price while the trio of Jim Bolger runners deserve further consideration.
