Went for €15,000 as a three-year-old, the gelding is out of a 1m6f winner on the Flat in France, who is a half-sister to Oa Baldixe, a winner over 2m4f-2m5f over hurdles. Improvement anticipated from first start at Punchestown last month.

Verdict

The Henry De Bromhead-trained MY UNCAS was still travelling well when disaster struck 3f out on debut at Naas last month. The four-year-old in the colours of Special Tiara can set the record straight here under jockey Patrick Mullins at the expense of the fancied pair Scalor and Soviet Pimpernel who both caught the eye on debut.
  1. My Uncas
  2. Scalor
  3. Soviet Pimpernel
