165,000 gns son of Invincible Spirit out of a well-related dam. Has been gelded and makes a belated debut in a hood so there is a suspicion there are some temperament issues.
Took the eye on Yarmouth debut in a race where three of the four who finished ahead of him have won since. The other was placed in a Group 1 so he looks the one to beat. Has been off since May but yard 2-4 in last 14 days.
40,000 gns son of Paco Boy. Related to winners at 5f-7f and the dam won two races. Hooded for belated debut in a race lacking strength in depth. Could be one to watch in the market.
£55,000 breeze-up purchase by Kyllachy out of a dam who has produced three winners including useful middle-distance handicapper Beardwood. Stable don't get many debut winners and he may want a bit further.
Still searching for her elusive first success after 14 starts (0-12 on the AW); not considered at all on such disadvantageous terms.
The most experienced in the lineup and dropping in distance today having failed to get home on last two starts. A narrow second to Bay Of Naples looks strong enough form for this grade.
Stepped up on her debut here last time when failing to stay 7f. Looks interesting at this trip under a rider with a 6-26 record on the stable's AW runners.
Forecasts
Harry's Bar (10/11), Ghaith (3/1), Velvet Morn (15/2), Sarasota (8/1), Magical Ride (12/1), Vallachy (20/1), Mystical Moon (100/1)
Ghaith is the most expensive in the lineup but it is a worry when a son of Invincible Spirit is asked to wear headgear and Hugo Palmer's newcomer has also been gelded. Sarasota and Velvet Moon are worth trying at this trip having failed to see out recent races. The former has a strong piece of form judged on a narrow second to Bay Of Naples, but HARRY'S BAR made his debut in a hot Yarmouth contest that has worked out exceptionally well. A 10 month absence is a concern, but the yard are 2-4 in the last couple of weeks and the risk may be worth taking in a race that will take little winning.
- Harry's Bar
