Took a step forward in his form when beaten just over a length over C&D last time out, stuck to the task well and went down fighting. 1lb rise is of no concern and if repeating that effort, has a leading chance.
C&D winner here but that was back in the October of 2017, but was finishing well beaten (over hurdles) when last seen out in October. On that, wellbeing to prove here and others preferred.
Almost got there in a weaker race than this back in January, beaten a neck, not so good since but didn't get the best of runs last time out and may be capable of better. Fully effective under these conditions and not out of it with better luck.
Has a bit of ground to make up on California Lad on their running here in January but was staying on well there and a good pace up front would help his cause. 1-18 strike rate tempers confidence, however.
Just the one win in 23 starts is an obvious concern, but on the plus side that did come over C&D. Has ground to make up with one or two of these on recent form too, and overall it's not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Came back from along absence to run well over 10f here last month, and given she went off favourite, someone knew a good run was forthcoming. Just as happy at this trip and off the same mark, has a leading chance.
Wasn't going anywhere quickly for Richard Hannon last year and first start for this yard (over 7f) earlier in the month suggested he's going to find it hard going here.
Second over C&D last time out but in truth, was well beaten and never really looked like the winner. Lightly raced so could yet improve, but in truth probably has to to win this.
Was with Richard Hughes when last seen (back in 2017), wasn't up to much and hard to see her winning this after such a ling absence.
Forecasts
Miss Snossyboots (2/1), Dream Focus (7/2), Alcander (11/2), Tooreen Legend (11/2), Itsalonglongroad (9/1), California Lad (12/1), Abraham (14/1), Sharg (33/1), Primadonia (50/1)
MISS SNOSSYBOOTS ran well (as the money for her told you it would) on her reappearance and she wouldn't need a lot more to take this. California Lad didn't get the best of luck last time but has every chance of the breaks come. Tooreen Legend may be best of the rest.
- Miss Snossyboots
- California Lad
