Showed immediate and significant improvement on his first start for this trainer at Musselburgh (2m1f, good to soft) earlier in the month. Mark remains the same, but there may well be more to come from him, and he has claims.
Goes well on testing ground and scored over C&D by an easy 15L on Boxing Day, when 7lb lower. Went up 10lb for that, but was held last time, and may well be competitive back here from the slightly reduced mark.
1-29, and while he clearly carries risks for win punters, he has hit the frame nine times, including his latest start at Carlisle (2m5f, heavy). Drops 2lb here, so can't rule him out of the money again.
Came good at the 13th attempt when scoring at Market Rasen (2m1f, good to soft) last month. Up 6lb for that, but had gone close from just 1lb lower than today on her previous start, so should be thereabouts.
Has yet to show much in five hurdles, having pulled up on his sole point run. Can only watch for the moment.
Best efforts have both been here over C&D (inc on soft). 1lb lower than when beaten over 4L into third two starts ago. Pulled up over further on heavy at Hexham last time, but has a squeak back here from 1lb lower, and with claimer now up.
Newbury Flat winner (7f, soft) in 2017, when with Paul Cole. 0-9 over hurdles, however, and recent point form suggests he is very much up against it back under rules.
