33-1 and tailed off on debut in an AW Lingfield bumper in November. Dam won a 2m4f chase, so looks one to consider ore when upped in trip, but probably best watched on hurdles debut.
Ran well for quite a long way on his hurdles debut at Kelso earlier in the month, when 100-1. Will need to improve for that, and is probably more a handicap proposition in time than one for today.
Won here on debut (good) in a bumper in October, when with Peter Fahey, and changed hands shortly after for £25,000. Never got competitive from a hold-up ride on hurdles debut at Ayr last time, but not written off here.
Has not shown a huge amount so far and will need significant improvement to be winning this. Probably one to consider when entering minor handicaps.
Placed six times from 40 starts, but remains a maiden. Pulled up in three of his last four starts, so can't see that status changing here.
Won a chase here (soft) for the late Malcolm Jefferson and added one on his final start for Ruth at Haydock (2m3f) last May. Has lost his way in that discipline this season, so reverts to hurdles. Has the ability to win this if he can bounce back.
Won a Sheriff Hutton point in January, but so far well beaten in two visits here under rules. Much more needed.
Showed improved form last time when 3L third in a Catterick maiden hurdle. That looks good form in context, and a repeat or better should see him go very close. Has won on soft on the Flat.

This really revolves around Robbing The Prey, who is rated far superior to the field, but has been badly out of sorts over fences. On that evidence, it is risky taking what could be a short price about a revival from him, in what is admittedly not a strong race. There are others of interest and after a decent effort last time, the suggestion is HIGHLAND BOBBY, who at least arrives in form. Honourary Gift could do better this time.
