Has won 11 of his 13 completed starts in hunter chases and point-to-points. Shot up the rankings with an impressive victory over 3m here last month but now meets a couple of rivals rated 9lb higher.
Former 143-rated chaser with a career record of 13-34 and landed a 2m hunter chase last time. Should be better suited by this stiffer test and rider/trainer combination have been trawling similar races this year.
Has winning hunter chase form at a more modest level than this. Beaten 16L by Ballotin on latest start and that surely too large a deficit to overcome.
Pulled-up on five of his nine starts (tailed-off in the others) since winning at odds of 33/1 over 2m here in April 2017; very unlikely.
Pulled-up on his seasonal bow at Larkhill and he would still be hard to fancy on the pick of his 2018 form.
Won a 2m4f point-to-point at Cothelstone last season but that was in modest company and she has been beaten twice since in much weaker races than this. Makes debut over regulation fences under an inexperienced rider.

Forecasts
Arthur's Secret (8/15), Ballotin (7/4), Delegate (3/1), Sam Cavallaro (20/1), Numbercruncher (20/1), Hidden Cargo (20/1), Dissertation (66/1), River Purple (100/1)
David Maxwell and Philip Hobbs are having a good season and can add to their tally with BALLOTIN who was rated far superior to these in his prime and who will be all the better for two runs after a layoff. He readily took care of his rivals at Leicester and should be seen to better effect at this trip. Arthur's Secret romped home here last month and he has an impressive winning record, albeit at a lower level than the selection. Delegate has something to prove following three disastrous efforts since scoring a year ago but the booking of Will Biddick looks positive.
