Completed a double when winning over 1m at Kempton in November and ran well when runner-up over C&D the following month. Absent since and is a notable runner off a mark 9lb higher than for his latest success.
Good third in a 1m handicap at Lingfield in January. Struggled dropped to 7f at Newcastle last time out and is interesting back up in trip with cheekpieces applied for the first time.
Beaten just 1¾L when finishing fifth of six over 1m at Lingfield earlier this month. Promising apprentice booked to ride and is one to note having won off this mark in the past.
Completed a four-timer when winning by a neck in a 1m2f handicap at Chelmsford last month. Beaten 5L when finishing runner-up over the same trip at Kempton subsequently and interesting to see how he fares dropping in distance.
Victorious in a 1m handicap at Newcastle on his penultimate start. Good second over the same trip at Chelmsford subsequently but has a wide draw to overcome if he is to take this event.
Ended last season with a short-head defeat over 1m at Haydock (good-to-soft) in September. Dwelt when finishing last of nine in a 7f handicap at Southwell on seasonal debut last time out and better expected in this contest.
Winner four times on the AW including over an extended 1m1f here in January. Held in three subsequent starts including when 2L fourth over the same C&D last time out.
Drop in grade appeared to help when winning by 3L over an extended 1m1f here last time out. Raised 7lb for that victory and is an interesting runner back up in class.
Handicap mark is falling following three modest efforts this term. Well handicapped on his old form and market support would be notable from a good draw.
Showed some decent form in novice company for John Gosden including when third over 1m at Windsor (good-to-firm) last June. Gelded since and interesting to see how he fares on stable and handicap debut.

Forecasts
Salute The Soldier (1/1), Executive Force (7/2), Michele Strogoff (13/2), Tough Remedy (10/1), Illustrissime (10/1), Mythical Madness (20/1), Ballard Down (22/1), Gurkha Friend (25/1), Contrast (50/1), Staplegrove (50/1)
Top weight SALUTE THE SOLDIER looks capable of returning to winning ways with a victory in this competitive 1m handicap. The selection was in good form when last in action and can take this at the chief expense of Mythical Madness who has won three times at this venue. Third place can go to Executive Force who has been running well over further in recent starts.
