Daughter of Lord Of England out of a Singspiel mare. Makes debut in first time tongue tie for yard who are without a winner under rules in the last four years. Others preferred.
Daughter of Oscar out of a Supreme Leader mare. Winner of her latest point-to-point start last month. Market likely to reveal expectations on rules debut.
By Stowaway out of a Buckskin mare. Dam unraced half-sister to Irish Grand National winner Niche Market. Plenty on her plate here on racecourse debut.
€7,500 as a three-year-old. Dam won a Bumper and over hurdles. Shaped with promise on debut and improved on that run to finish second of nine at Thurles last month. Form solid and fancied here.
Daughter of Jeremy out of a Witness Box mare. Weakened quickly over 5f on debut in a Fairyhouse bumper when last seen in December, eventually beaten 168L. Others offer more.
By Scorpion out of a Westerner mare. Dam unraced half-sister to hurdler/chaser It's A Close Call. Likely to come on for the run making debut here.
Daughter of Soldier Of Fortune out of a Kahyasi mare. Half-sister to winners Flying Tiger, Mega Fortune and Icario. Expected to step up on a couple of career defeats in this company for leading trainer/jockey combination.
Not disgraced in a couple of bumper starts at Limerick and Tramore last summer before disappointing on comeback in a Fairyhouse bumper last month beaten 91L. Has a bit to prove at present.
By Scorpion out of a Snurge mare. Sister to point-to-point winner On Account. Won on her most recent start in a February point-to-point and likely to need a couple to falter in this contest.
Solid and consistent sort running well in defeat in a number of bumpers since November. Step up to Grade 2 level may have been beyond him last month and better expected back in this company.
Daughter of Scorpion out of a Topanoora mare. Fifth of 11 on debut in a Navan bumper in January beaten 13L and every chance she will improve for the run here.
Filly by Doyen out of a Bach mare. Travelled strongly in to the race on debut in a Navan bumper in January beaten 4¾L finishing third of 11 on yielding ground. Likely to improve and worth a market check.
Forecasts
Pont Aval (11/8), Two Shoe Tom (9/4), Papal Pearl (6/1), Lady Of Elysium (7/1), Arthur's Baby (8/1), Fag An Bealach (33/1), Zhenya (33/1), Rubiana (33/1), Allure Of Light (33/1), Ranger P (33/1), Mal De Mer (50/1), Laneuish (50/1)
Could be a battle royale between the leading stables here as Lady Of Elysium for trainer Gordon Elliott and jockey Jamie Codd attempt to outpoint PONT AVAL from the Willie Mullins yard with son Patrick in the saddle. Both mares have suffered a couple of career defeat so far with the Mullins six-year-old looking the more convincing of the two. Two Shoe Tom and Papal Pearl look the best of the rest in the closer.
- Pont Aval
- Lady Of Elysium
- Two Shoe Tom
