33/1

Horse silk
9/4
Solid and consistent sort running well in defeat in a number of bumpers since November. Step up to Grade 2 level may have been beyond him last month and better expected back in this company.
11
Horse silk
33/1
Daughter of Scorpion out of a Topanoora mare. Fifth of 11 on debut in a Navan bumper in January beaten 13L and every chance she will improve for the run here.
Filly by Doyen out of a Bach mare. Travelled strongly in to the race on debut in a Navan bumper in January beaten 4¾L finishing third of 11 on yielding ground. Likely to improve and worth a market check.

Forecasts

Pont Aval (11/8), Two Shoe Tom (9/4), Papal Pearl (6/1), Lady Of Elysium (7/1), Arthur's Baby (8/1), Fag An Bealach (33/1), Zhenya (33/1), Rubiana (33/1), Allure Of Light (33/1), Ranger P (33/1), Mal De Mer (50/1), Laneuish (50/1)

Verdict

Could be a battle royale between the leading stables here as Lady Of Elysium for trainer Gordon Elliott and jockey Jamie Codd attempt to outpoint PONT AVAL from the Willie Mullins yard with son Patrick in the saddle. Both mares have suffered a couple of career defeat so far with the Mullins six-year-old looking the more convincing of the two. Two Shoe Tom and Papal Pearl look the best of the rest in the closer.
  1. Pont Aval
  2. Lady Of Elysium
  3. Two Shoe Tom
