Probably safest to concentrate upon ALLOCATOR, who did little wrong when well backed on debut, and previous winner: Cirque Royal, who is closely matched with the selection on a line through the Charlie Appleby-trained Marhaban. (Appleby also trained the winner of this race last year.) The betting will be informative though and support for well-bred debutante Message and once-raced Blood Eagle will make for an interesting conundrum. Alpasu has ability and is one to note with an eye on future handicaps.
