Made his debut over C&D and appeared to act well enough on this unique surface beaten just 2L into third with So Hi Speed one place ahead in second. That form has yet to be tested but he looks sure to improve; has a rather awkward draw in stall 1.

Formerly with Richard Hughes as a juvenile (had just the two runs for that yard); disappointed on her second start having shown great promise from her debut effort. Makes stable/Fibresand debut (had wind op); interesting if finding her form.

Exalted Angel (10/11), Olympic Spirit (3/1), Lille (7/1), So Hi Speed (7/1), Gupta (12/1), Coastal Drive (16/1), Termonator (66/1)

Quite a bit to like about a few of these although only three of them have experienced this surface before. Karl Burke has a good record with his runners at the track and his Exalted Angel shaped with plenty of promise in two outings late last year and he looks sure to take a step forward this year. He’s yet to run on this surface though but neither has one of his main rivals in OLMYPIC SPIRIT although this one may just have the edge in fitness having run well twice on Tapeta of late. Both So Hi Speed and Gupta have experienced Fibresand and are closely matched on their running last time out although the former looks a hard ride. Lille needs watching closely in the market given her debut run.
