Not a race for the feint-hearted with solid records and sound recent runs at a premium. STAR CRACKER becomes the selection almost by default having put together some consistent efforts of late and is well used to this environment; off a good mark now. Windforpower won’t have many chances to break his long losing run but he has fallen a long way in the weights if he chooses to put his best foot forward. Guiding Star has a second over C&D to her name and a repeat of that would see her competitive in what is a weak heat.
