Verdict

A newcomers bumper, so nothing to work with other than pedigrees, statistics and the early market moves. In truth this race is more about the future than the present and doesn't exactly appeal as a betting medium. Possible contenders include the €125,000 3yo Glen Mooar (Tim Easterby), Jembug Drummer (Tim Vaughan), Och Aye (Mark Johnston), Raymond (Keith Dalgleish) and the Irish raider BRAVE SEASCA (Thomas Cooper). The selection is his trainers first ever Newcastle runner, and a first ride at this track for his jockey Bryan Cooper since partnering Petit Mouchoir in the 2016 Fighting Fifth Hurdle.
  1. Brave Seasca
  2. Raymond
  3. Glen Mooar
