Yet to win over fences but arrives here on the back of his best effort to date when a narrow second at Uttoxeter. Handicapper again raises the stakes here but still expect a bold bid today.
Had wind surgery after winning a 3m1f Warwick handicap hurdle last April, when 3lb higher. Improved on that next time, but form since dipped. May be able to exploit lower chase mark, now resuming over fences, but will have to bounce right back.
Once a winner over hurdles but yet to fire over fences with an unseated first time followed by a remote last of four at Lingfield. Sure there is more to some from him but plenty of risks attached.
Second in first three chase races including here over 3m6½f penultimately. Well below par at Wincanton latest when pulled up as favourite so must now bounce back but earlier form amongst the best on offer.
Impossible task first time over fences but since won here (2m3f) and at Taunton (2m2f). Still unexposed despite age (eighth start here) and very legitimate claims if getting 3m which his dam did.
Winning stable debut latest in a 2m4f Uttoxeter maiden offered promise going forward. Had earlier finished second in a handicap off a 4lb lower mark so not ruled out here although further step up maybe needed.
Better over hurdles earlier in career but seven chase races shown little promise on the whole. Ran out latest when well beaten so again not one to fancy.
A fourteen-race maiden over hurdles and has failed to complete in two of his three starts over fences, which hardly suggests he is a stable-star in the making. Would have claims is able to repeat the form of his chasing debut though. Risk attached.
Wins at Fontwell and Uttoxeter followed by respectable close sixth of 16 at Chepstow latest despite a few errors. Need only iron those out to go close here and rates a leading player.
Dual hurdles winner including here over 2m7f makes rather belated switch to chasing now. Moderate effort latest at Ascot after two seconds in lesser races. Not ruled out but others more compelling.
Off the mark at the 10th time of asking latest when making almost all of the running over 3m1f at Wincanton. That obviously means he arrives in good order but more depth to this contest and higher mark too.

Forecasts
Garrane (9/2), The Ogle Gogle Man (5/1), Lithic (6/1), Waterloo Warrior (13/2), Bobo Mac (7/1), Billy Bronco (15/2), Spring Wolf (8/1), Jully Les Buxy (12/1), Queens Present (14/1), This Is It (16/1), Indian Brave (16/1), Pink Gin (20/1)
SPRING WOLF has had his problems but he is now making up for lost time and can land the hat-trick if staying 3m here which pedigree and racing style suggest he probably will. The Ogle Gogle Man's own hat-trick bid came up short latest but he is another worthy of consideration. Garrane pulled up latest but if forgiving that he can be given very decent claims.
