Quirky sort at times and still 2lb higher than for his last win. Not tried over 6f since maiden days and there is a chance that it could bring about a bit more improvement with a patient ride.
Has struggled to find his feet since joining this yard from Richard Hannon but mark continues to slide and no doubt he will take advantage sooner or later. Needs to put best foot forward.
Back to form with back-to-back wins at Lingfield in January. Missed the break and didn't get the best of runs when held at Wolverhampton last time and looking to bounce back here.
Bounced back to form from a reduced mark when a close second at Wolverhampton in January. Off the same mark here and leading rider booked so every reason to expect another bold bid.
On a huge upward curve having won each of his last four starts including when dropped to this C&D last time. Only 5lbs higher here and he was well on top last time. Bold bid for the five-timer looks very likely.
Has been in fair form of late without winning. Got within a length of Aguerooo at Lingfielf two starts back and then reversed that form last time at Wolverhampton albeit getting a better run. Work to do.
Really likeable sort who tends to need things to drop right. Up another 2lb for winning again over 6f at Newcastle last time. Has run well here in the past.
Handicapper finally starting to relent having posted some reasonable efforts. Well held by a couple of these at Wolverhampton last time and has some work to do to reverse that form.
Generally consistent and runs his race. Close-up fourth here over 7f two starts back and improved on that to be a close third at Kempton over this trip last time. Chances one again if putting best foot forward.
Has only had one start for this yard when beaten a very long way at Southwell in January. That was his first run for over a year and entitled to have needed it. On a very dangerous mark with cheekpieces added if able to get anywhere near old form.
Has returned to form and won here with some authority over 7f two weeks ago. Slapped with an 8lb rise for that win but probably worth it and well worth a try back sprinting the way he travelled there.
Forecasts
Kraka (4/1), Foreign Legion (5/1), Mochalov (6/1), Real Estate (7/1), Duke Cosimo (7/1), Mount Wellington (8/1), Wiff Waff (9/1), Aguerooo (10/1), Princely (14/1), Independence Day (14/1), Whirl Me Round (40/1)
Mochalov won with plenty to spare over 7f here last time and is very much respected back in trip despite his 8lb rise. It is hard to get away from the claims of FOREIGN LEGION who comes here having won four on the bounce and was well on top over C&D last time. The five-timer beckons.
- Foreign Legion
- Mochalov
- Mount Wellington
