Four-time course winner (three wins at this trip here) who is capable of winning in a better grade but doesn't appear to be performing at his best of late. Still 2lb above his last winning mark but needs to show more before he can be supported.
Struggling for form at the moment even on Fibresand a surface which has seen him successful in the past. Almost back down to his last winning mark but appears not to be in any sort form to be able to exploit a fall in the weights.
Completed a hat-trick here over a longer trip when last seen (returns from a long absence). That win one of four course wins with two coming at this trip; still looks well treated if he could repeat his form when last seen but that has to be a doubt.
Well backed when winning over C&D last year taking over advantage of slipping back down to his last winning mark. Has struggled a little off higher marks since that win nearly a year ago; well below form off a break when last seen at Kempton.
Dual course winner (2-2 here) who bounced back to his best on his first try at 6f here last time (second run for this yard). Travelled well and is unexposed at sprint trips (has won over further); still well treated on his old form; could follow up.
Mixed bag in three starts for this yard looking back to some sort on his form returned to sprinting on his second of the three outings. Failed to repeat that form last time (failed to get the run of the race); slipped in the weights again.
Another in the field who is no stranger to winning here with six wins to his name five coming over this trip here. Not seen to best effect when last racing here but has run well on the Tapeta at Newcastle of late; proving he can cope with this mark.
Lightly-raced sort who makes his handicap debut having only had five career runs. Performed well on his first start for this yard over C&D in a maiden but has been nowhere near that form subsequently on two different AW surfaces; something to prove.
0-10 at this track and 0-6 over C&D with all his wins having come at Newcastle. Both his runs for this yard have looked ordinary, well below form in first-time eyeshields last time; now back in his usual hood, looks outclassed in this company.
Produced a shock to score over further for one of his two course wins (other win over 5f) around this time last year from well out of the handicap. Faces another stiff task here (4lb out of the handicap) having had two runs since a break, outclassed.

A race like the first which isn’t lacking in course and C&D form with six-time course winner LUCKY LODGE looking sure to be suited by a return to this 7f trip after running a sound race over a furlong shorter to an in-form sort at Newcastle last time. Dark Alliance is one of the more consistent sorts in this and he deserves a mention as does Martineo as dual course winner who is well handicapped on his old form. Gold Hunter has slipped in the weights and can be given a squeak as can Arlecchino’s Leap is he’s fit and ready to go back from a long absence.
