Made it two wins from her three starts with a second C&D win last time and clearly going well at present. 3lb rise is fair from the assessor given that she doesn't do much when she hits the front and expected to go well with leading AW rider booked.

Still a maiden after eight starts but gives the impression he's starting to get the hang of things since joining this outfit. Doesn't look entirely straightforward but a return to Polytrack should suit and expected to go well back down in trip.

Three wins from 11 career starts and they have all come over C&D in his last six runs. Seemingly needs a decent pace to aim at but he's on a feasible handicap mark if he gets the race run to suit.

Both wins have come on turf and doesn't look as effective in six starts on artificial surfaces. Produced one of his better efforts last time but must improve on that to have a say here.

Two-time C&D winner and finally back on his last winning AW mark. Disappointed last time without any obvious excuses and needs to leave that effort well behind to have any sort of say here.

C&D winner in December since finished third to Narjes here over the same conditions. 3lb better off with that rival so reversal entirely feasible and certainly should make another bold bid.

Nine wins from 39 starts on AW and made an impressive winning debut for this yard here last time out. Had little chance having raced wide last time at Kempton when well beaten, worth forgiving that but stamina unknown for this trip.

Hasn't won since debut and well beaten in five starts since October. Starts out for new yard and wide draw will be no help. Hard to fancy.

All six of her career wins have come on AW but she's on a losing run at present and more effective on Tapeta, despite winning her maiden over C&D. Showed nothing when last of 10 at Wolverhampton last time and hard to fancy.

Windsor winner in October and has acquitted himself well in two AW starts this winter. This looks particularly competitive though and wide draw isn't ideal.

Well beaten on each of his four starts including handicap debut when last of nine at Kempton last time. Has it all to prove at present.

Forecasts

Hidden Depths (3/1), Rakematiz (7/2), Hackbridge (5/1), Narjes (13/2), Makambe (8/1), Tobacco Road (11/1), Bayston Hill (11/1), Chetan (16/1), Sunshineandbubbles (20/1), Time Zone (25/1), Petra's Pony (50/1)

Verdict

NARJES is a mare improving and she can notch up a third course and distance success after her game effort here last month with Luke Morris in the saddle. Rakematiz is the chief threat returning on better terms with the selections and there's unlikely to be much between the pair again. A win may not be too far away for Hidden Depths who is still a maiden and gets Adam Kirby for company; the return to this surface is expected to suit better than the Fibresand last time.
