Back to her best on return to hurdling two weeks ago when only finding an in form rival too good. A line through the third gives her a bit to find with Annie Mc.
Appreciated a drop in trip and better ground when getting off the mark at Chepstow. The way the race was run exaggerated her margin of victory and a 10lb higher mark may be more than she deserved.
Ludlow and Fontwell winner who was just finding 2m4f too far when exiting at the last in a better race than this at Cheltenham. Claims here with yard's form a further positive.
Course winner who steps up in class having won her last two. Form of Chepstow victory has been upheld and rider good value for his claim.
Recent poor form figures have been achieved over fences but disguise her hurdling achievements in Ireland. They include two victories and a good fourth in Listed company so one to note if supported.
Unknown quantity from France whose sole victory came at Loudeac and who was picked up at Arqana for €15,000.
Winner at Sandown last season but held off higher marks since. Returns from a break and likely to need this.
Has some smart bumper form but she has yet to master the art of jumping. That inexperience puts her at a disadvantage in this company.
Doesn't take much racing and form has dropped off of late including on stable debut at Chepstow (2m3½f, soft) in November over timber and when unseating rider on chase bow last month.
Forecasts
Annie Mc (11/8), Love Lane (11/4), Dinos Benefit (11/2), Aimee De Sivola (13/2), Giveaway Glance (16/1), The Kings Baby (18/1), Awesome Rosie (20/1), Vue Cavaliere (50/1), Legend Lady (66/1)
Annie Mc left her previous form behind when coming off a breakneck gallop to score at Chepstow. It is possible the handicapper has overreacted, although the effort gives her an apparent edge over Dino's Benefit. Love Lane steps up in class but still cannot be written off and Giveaway Glance has claims down to this trip. However a chance is taken that the switch to hurdling can see THE KINGS BABY recapture her Irish form which included a Listed fourth against much better rivals than these.
- The Kings Baby
