£15,000 yearling. Half-brother to a bumper winner and dam also half-sister to a bumper winner. However, trainer has not had a winner in this sphere since 2014.
Ran well in a point last April, before falling when a possible winner. Ran well for a long way on rules debut at Uttoxeter and looks capable of making an impression this time.
Received a bit of support at longer prices ahead of his debut at Warwick last April, and was beaten under 7L there. Stable's runners always respected in this sphere, and an improved effort looks likely. Competitive.
Promising performances when third on both starts to date. Needs to find a bit of improvement to win, but should be very competitive once again.
Supported prior to a respectable debut at Huntingdon in December. Beaten 18L there, so improvement needed to challenge this time around.
33-1 and well beaten after folding quickly on debut at Ayr (soft) last month. Should come on for that, but likely to find a few too good this time.
€20,000 yearling (not sold €15,000 2yo). Third foal. Half-brother to French 2m1f-2m6f chase winner Soldier's Queen. Dam unplaced 1m1f-1m4f. Stable 1-2 in bumpers this season (debut scorer). Market check.
Second foal. Brother to German 1m2f winner Flying Gina. Dam won in Germany, half-sister to useful 7f-1m3f French/German winner Freminius. Stable 36% in bumpers this season (including debut success). Should go well.
Respectable run on debut in Listed company, but couldn't build on that at Huntingdon last time. May do better now upped in trip. Not written off.
Very much a sprint pedigree, so making his debut over this trip is likely to place excessive demands on his stamina. Stable 0-2 in bumpers since 2014.
First foal. Dam unraced half-sister to prolific Spanish/French 6f-1m winner Acamante out of 5f/6f winner. Stable not noted for having debut winners in this sphere.
14-1 and well beaten after leading for much of the way on debut at Wetherby (1m4f) last month. Looks a longer-term project.

Floating Rock (15/8), I'm Wiser Now (2/1), Floki (11/2), Equus Dancer (7/1), L'Air Du Vent (15/2), Chesney Brown (14/1), Picks Flight (20/1), Jacamar (20/1), Passing Shadow (20/1), Trans Des Obeaux (66/1), Donald Dux (100/1), Newhall Grange (125/1), Andorns Legacy (125/1)
As often with these races, it looks best to concentrate on those representing stables that do well in this sphere. As a result, we will look no further than FLOATING ROCK, whose trainer is a regular bumper winner, including with newcomers. The booking of Richard Johnson fuels confidence. L'Air Du Vent is another interesting newcomer, while Equus Dancer, Floki and I'm Wiser Now looks the best of those with experience. Chesney Brown represents a yard that is 1-2 in bumpers this season.
