Improved effort at Newcastle (2m4f, good to soft) last time, when racing over fences from this mark. Cheekpieces now fitted and up markedly in trip, but unexposed and could go well for his local trainer.
1lb lower than when scoring at Plumpton (3m1f, good to soft) 16-months ago. Well beaten in both starts since returning from a year off, but has plenty of form that gives him a chance if he can bounce back on this long trip north.
Not as good yet over hurdles as he suggested he might be when running in bumpers. Lowly initial mark is the sort that his trainer can work with, while cheekpieces may also help. Interesting upped in trip.
Scored over 3m at Hexham (heavy), when 6lb lower in December. Respectable chase debut at Wetherby last time, but reverts to hurdles with his winning pilot reassigned. Not ruled out.
C&D scorer on soft last March, when 14lb lower. Added to that at Hexham on the summer, from this mark. Not one to rely on, but not ruled out if she can bounce back.
Yet to make the frame under rules. Better effort when 10½L fourth at Ayr last time, and possibilities of some prize money this time, now 2lb lower, in cheekpieces and with a top northern pilot booked.
Respectable return from an absence of the better part of three years from rules racing, when fifth at Doncaster (3m½f, good) last month. More needed after just a 3lb drop.
Pulled up at Southwell on his return from 12-months off in December and his first run post-wind surgery.
Won 4-35 point-to-points and not sure where the money for this veteran came from on his stable debut at Wetherby last time, but the support was in vain when he pulled up. Can only watch.
Very moderate mare and readily opposed from out of the handicap.

A poor contest and despite involving lengthy travellers in Miss Mayfair and Invisible Clouds, both of whom can have cases made, it could be MONSIEUR BAGOT, trained just up the road by Rebecca Menzies, who makes a successful step up to this stamina test. Dontedelay is not ruled out, while the same applies to Cavalry Scout.
